Heavy & Light Duty Equipment Operator / Tree Planter

Triage Arbor Care is a family-owned arborist company located in Foothills, Alberta, between Calgary and Okotoks. We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Heavy & Light Duty Equipment Operator / Tree Planter to join our team for a full-time seasonal position.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, learning about trees and plants, and being part of a supportive team environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Heavy tree planting
- Operating knuckle booms, skid steers, and stump grinders
- Equipment and vehicle maintenance
- Assisting arborist crews with tree care operations as needed
- General labour and site support
Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy and/or light-duty equipment
- Tree industry or arborist experience considered a strong asset
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically capable of demanding outdoor work
- Interest in trees, plants, and the arboriculture industry
- Safety-conscious and dependable
Assets (Not Required):
- Class 1, 3, or 5 driver’s license
- Air brakes endorsement
- First Aid certification
- Arborist certifications
- Experience with tree removals, pruning, or rigging
Position Details:
- Full-time seasonal employment
- Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility
- Overtime opportunities available
- Benefits available after one year

Wages:
$30–$35/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
