About Us
Since 1993, Hazelwood Construction has been building more than just infrastructure — we’ve built a reputation. Founded by Jack and Sid Whittaker, we’ve become a trusted name across Western Canada by delivering innovative, high-quality projects in underground utilities, road construction, bridge building, and high-profile Run of River hydroelectric projects.
As part of The Hazelwood Group, we’re proud to exceed client expectations through professional execution, top-tier craftsmanship, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
We’re looking for a Survey Manager who can take full ownership of surveying, layout, and grade control across complex civil construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where technical expertise meets field execution—ensuring every line, level, and layout is built right the first time.
You’ll lead survey operations across earthworks, underground utilities, roadworks, and infrastructure projects, driving accuracy, efficiency, and safety from design model through to as-built.
