Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and hands-on Café Manager to lead our new Goldie’s Donut + Coffee location in White Rock. The Café Manager will oversee daily operations, support and schedule the team, and help create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations and ensure smooth, friendly service
- Supervise, train, support, and schedule team members
- Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety
- Support the team on the floor during busy periods
- Monitor inventory, place orders, and help minimize waste
- Handle customer questions or concerns professionally
- Manage POS transactions, cash handling, and daily reconciliation
- Work with ownership on local promotions and team operations
Requirements
- Experience in a café, restaurant, or food-service environment is preferred
- Friendly, positive, and welcoming with strong customer-service skills
- Comfortable leading a team and working in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, reliable, hands-on, and able to multitask
- Comfortable with POS systems, cash handling, scheduling, and inventory
- Available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
Compensation
- $23–$26 per hour, depending on experience
- Tips are paid separately through daily tip-out.
