We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system for order taking and cash handling, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and supplies.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Handle food items safely in compliance with food handling regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Uphold company standards for quality and presentation of all beverages and food items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills to ensure accurate transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly desirable.
