About Us
Trimet Storage Solutions is a growing storage systems distributor such as pallet racking, cantilever racking, wire mesh decking, and custom steel products. We are looking for a motivated Junior CAD Drafter to join our team at our Southeast Calgary office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for storage systems and related products.
- Develop layout drawings based on customer requirements and site conditions.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from customers, engineers, and project managers.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal team members to gather project information and resolve drawing questions.
- Visit project sites occasionally to verify dimensions, review site conditions, or assist with project coordination.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing files.
- Work closely with the sales, engineering, and project management teams.
- Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology (Structural, Civil, or Mechanical), Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Revit is an asset.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and contractors.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
