Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, removal, and repair of siding panels and gutter systems on various building types
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and caulking guns to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Support heavy lifting activities to move materials safely around job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to ensure proper placement and measurements
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and long-lasting results
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in construction and carpentry projects
- Previous construction or handyman experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings for accurate installation
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints effectively
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading to follow project specifications accurately
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in construction trades
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
