Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Company Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight and equipment safely and efficiently across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong driving record, excellent navigation skills, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation and automotive repair. A commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism is essential to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and freight carriers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight, equipment, and materials between designated locations in a timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, following proper safety procedures
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle operability
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Assist with warehouse operations such as forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules or any issues encountered during routes
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is preferred
- Familiarity with automotive repair or troubleshooting skills is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Prior experience with freight handling and logistics management is advantageous
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems for route planning
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions

Pay: From $7,000.00 per month
