River Valley Energy Services is looking for a Auto/Light duty mechanically inclined person to work in our shop in Grande Prairie.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, Full-Time Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our commercial fleet of UTVs, Utility trailers and light-duty pickup trucks. In this regular, year-round role, you will ensure our fleet stays safe, compliant, and operational. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills across both powersports platforms and light automotive systems, including both gas and diesel engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Repairs: Execute engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and emissions repairs.
- Commercial Readiness: Install and service commercial accessories, winches, toolboxes, and utility attachments.
- Record Keeping: Complete work orders tracking parts used, labor hours, and maintenance history.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean shop and ensure all fleet vehicles meet commercial safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Mmechanical experience working on gas/diesel pickup trucks and commercial UTVs.
- Engine Proficiency: Solid understanding of both gasoline engines and light-duty diesel systems.
- Diagnostic Skill: Proficient with automotive scan tools, OBD-II systems, and electrical schematics.
- Tools: Must own a comprehensive set of personal hand tools and air/power tools.
- License: Valid driver’s license
