TF Warren Group is a premier lining, coating and rail maintenance facility located in Brantford, Ontario. We are currently looking to add an AFTERNOON shift Overhead Crane Operator/Material Handler to join our Plateline team!
Our ideal candidates have previous experience as a Crane Operator in the steel industry, and willing to work overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate overhead crane to move, load, and unload sheets of steel, parts, and other materials
- Perform tasks mainly outside and various weather conditions and multi-temperature environments
- Operate mechanized material handling equipment and machinery
- Verify the quality and quantity to related paperwork, note any deviations or shipping damage
- General labour and material handling
- Follow and understand the applicable Health and Safety procedures for performing the required work
- Previous crane operator experience in the steel industry is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Forklift and Crane experience is required
- Rigging experience an asset
- Comfortable and able to climb a ladder and work at heights up to 10 meters
- Able to work indoor and outdoor in varying weather conditions
- Able to lift/push up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to read special order notes, supervisor instructions and standard operating procedures
- Basic knowledge of steel products is an asset
