Shift: Afternoons 11:30 - 5:00PM and Evenings 5:00 - 10:00PM
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
Must be available Wednesday through Sunday
Role Overview
As a Back of House, you will be responsible for preparing and executing any menu items while ensuring company standards are consistently met. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role plays key part in ensuring high quality food expectations are met while working in a kitchen environment that maintains efficiency and positivity. Cooks are expected to work collaboratively with all BOH and FOH members, follow all pre-existing recipes and procedures, while upholding all food safety and sanitation standards during each shift.
What you’ll be doing
· Prepare and cook all menu items.
· Prepare food within scheduled time constraints during peak hours.
· Consistently fulfil any food modifications or specifications.
· Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, menu changes, and food preparation procedures to ensure a positive and consistent guest experience.
· Ensure proper portion control and food quality is maintained.
· Ensure presentation, flavour, and quality expectations are consistent.
· Ensure proper communication with all FOH and BOH members for smooth operations.
· Confidently operate various pieces of kitchen equipment.
· Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment.
· Consistently engage in prep, stocking, and setup.
· Assist with opening and closing duties.
· Maintain proper food labelling, and rotation methods.
· Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.

What we’re looking for
· Post Secondary diploma with a focus in hospitality and or Culinary Arts or equivalent preferred.
· 2 or more years of experience in a similar position.
· Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborative and inclusive when making decisions.
· Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Food Handling Safety certification required.
