In this role, you’ll manage yard organization, tool and equipment tracking, fuel and fluids, inventory levels, and support our logistics team with trucking and seasonal transitions. You’ll also be key in maintaining safety and compliance protocols across the board.
What You’ll Do:
● Keep the yard clean, safe, and organized for daily outdoor operations
● Load and offload trucks with landscaping materials such as sod, seed, dirt, gravel, wood, pavers, planters, and site furniture
● Track, inspect, and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and consumables
● Fuel, grease, wash, and inspect small machines and equipment for readiness
● Assist with tool repairs, warranty returns, and fleet record management
● Coordinate with field and trucking crews to support smooth daily logistics
● Maintain accurate reports including FLHAs, pre-use inspections, and incident documentation
● Support seasonal changeovers between summer landscaping and winter services
● Lead yard-based team members on quieter days, assigning tasks and monitoring progress
● Ensure all safety signage, barriers, and emergency supplies are maintained and visible
● Communicate clearly with supervisors and project teams to align yard operations with daily needs
What You’ll Bring:
● 1+ year of experience working with or around tools, trucks, or small machinery
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
● Physical stamina to regularly lift, move, and organize bulky materials
● Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
● Familiarity with spreadsheets, mobile apps, and digital tracking systems
● Clear and respectful communicator who thrives in team settings
● Bonus: Experience in landscaping, yard coordination, or construction logistics

● A proactive mindset and ability to manage fast-moving tasks with focus
● Confidence to take initiative and lead small crews when needed
● Attention to detail and pride in keeping systems and spaces well-managed
● Comfort working in a rural environment and in varying outdoor conditions
