Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck and Coach Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, heavy equipment maintenance, and mechanical systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks, coaches, and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Candidates with dealership experience and familiarity with various machinery are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues with trucks, coaches, and heavy equipment.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles including trucks, buses, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery and industrial equipment safely during maintenance procedures.
- Replace or repair electrical components, HVAC systems, and mechanical parts as needed.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in assembly or installation of new equipment or components when required.
- Maintain detailed service records and document repairs accurately for customer files.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients.
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required; candidates should have a solid understanding of vehicle systems.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, Caterpillar machinery, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, schematics reading, and industrial equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and the safe operation of power tools is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

Pay: $31.13-$51.71 per hour
