Security Systems Installer
L.G. Home Comfort is expanding our services across Ontario, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Security Systems Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be on the road visiting residential and commercial customers to install security cameras, alarm systems, and related equipment — making homes and businesses safer every day.
You'll be given a company vehicle and the tools you need to succeed, with the opportunity to grow your earnings through performance bonuses and commissions on top of your base hourly rate.
Please note that this position requires travel across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial security camera systems (IP, analog, wireless).
- Install and commission alarm systems including door/window sensors, motion detectors, control panels, and keypads.
- Run and conceal cabling neatly through walls, ceilings, and conduit.
- Configure and test all installed equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Walk customers through system operation and answer their questions professionally.
- Coordinate travel to job sites across your assigned region using a company vehicle.
- Maintain accurate job records, installation reports, and equipment logs.
- Uphold all safety standards and local codes.
- Represent LG Home Comfort professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience installing security cameras or alarm systems (residential or commercial) is a strong asset but not required.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License with a clean driving record — required.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule in the field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer communication and professionalism.
- Low-voltage or alarm installation certification an asset (e.g., OACETT, ESA).
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in varied environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces).
