Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of retail sales, and the ability to operate POS systems efficiently. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, providing education on various cannabis products, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Educate customers on product offerings, effects, and proper usage based on individual needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Upsell products effectively while maintaining compliance with legal regulations
- Manage inventory levels through merchandising, filing, and stock organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and work area
- Assist with basic merchandising tasks to promote featured products
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clarity
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service roles
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required
- Previous experience in a regulated environment such as cannabis retail is preferred
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
