Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Store Cashier/Reservation to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, handling reservations, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are highly valued.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries both in person and over the phone
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, or digital payments
- Manage reservations efficiently, confirming bookings and updating reservation records
- Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Providing knowledgeable assistance to customers
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store remains clean and welcoming
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Keep accurate records of sales, reservations, and inventory levels
- Follow phone etiquette standards while assisting customers remotely or over the phone
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience with POS systems, retail sales, merchandising, and cashiering procedures
- Bilingual proficiency (English required; additional languages preferred) to communicate with a broader customer base
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Time management skills to prioritize responsibilities and ensure prompt service delivery
