Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Plus Revelstoke. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our hotel, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and meet high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Manage repair projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities using CMMS software.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance tasks.
- Oversee HVAC systems maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide training and support to maintenance staff on best practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in building maintenance.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and electrical systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience with project management is an asset.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
