RoboKids is a hands-on robotics camp where children build, program, and compete with VEX IQ robots. We are hiring Camp Counsellors to facilitate daily activities, support campers, and contribute to a positive and inclusive camp culture.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate robotics activities and guide campers through build and programming challenges
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment throughout the program day
- Support transitions, supervision during breaks, and general camp operations
- Report any concerns or incidents to the Camp Supervisor
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a camp counsellor or in a youth-facing role
- An interest in LEGO robotics, engineering, technology, or similar hands-on STEM activities
- Comfortable working with children of varying ages and skill levels
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
Assets
- Hands-on experience with VEX IQ, LEGO Mindstorms/Spike, or similar platforms
- Background in coding, engineering, or maker education
Compensation: $20.50/hr
Pay: From $20.50 per hour
