Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Residential/Commercial Window Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial building windows, ensuring a high standard of service for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work. Duties
- Clean windows on commercial buildings using hand tools, power tools, and specialized cleaning equipment
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks related to window cleaning and general custodial duties
- Safely operate equipment such as squeegees, scrubbers, and extension poles for high or hard-to-reach windows
- Use heavy lifting techniques to handle equipment and supplies safely
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after cleaning assignments
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
- Follow safety procedures related to working at heights and using power tools or other equipment
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and facilities maintenance practices is advantageous
- Experience working with window cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during the course of daily duties
- Knowledge of safety standards related to working at heights and operating cleaning machinery
