Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical construction projects from start to finish. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and ensure that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving project success, maintaining schedules, and upholding safety protocols. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control inspections.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6 to track progress, document issues, and communicate updates effectively.
- Oversee budgeting tasks related to electrical components, materials procurement, and labor costs to stay within project scope.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings; enforce safe work practices at all times.
Skills
- Extensive experience in electrical construction projects with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Proven supervising experience leading teams in fast-paced construction environments.
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Skilled in construction estimating and budgeting to accurately forecast costs and manage resources efficiently.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for complex electrical systems.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and team members effectively.
