This is a combined role, so we're looking for someone comfortable in both the clinical and optical sides of eye care. If you've worked as an optometric assistant, an optician, or both — we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming and preparing patients for their exams (pre-testing, history, and more)
- Helping patients select frames and lenses that suit their needs and lifestyle
- Taking and recording accurate measurements for eyewear
- Dispensing and adjusting glasses, troubleshooting fit issues
- Keeping things running smoothly day-to-day alongside the rest of the team
What We're Looking For
- Some experience in optometry, optical dispensing, or a related role (we're not looking for perfect — we're looking for the right person)
- A warm, calm manner with patients — especially those who are nervous or need extra time
- Reliability and a genuine commitment to showing up and doing good work
- Comfortable learning and adapting as our clinic evolves
- Licensed optician or certified optometric assistant is an asset, but not required for all candidates
