Job Overview
We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive knowledge of medical terminology, and experience in hospital or acute care settings. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care. The Pharmacy Manager will play a critical role in coordinating medication management, supervising medication administration, and supporting clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and accurate medication dispensing and management
- Oversee medication inventory control, procurement, and storage procedures in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care plans, including medication therapy management
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and safety protocols
- Provide training and ongoing education to pharmacy staff on new medications, procedures, and medical terminology
- Monitor medication administration processes to maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Manage documentation related to medication dispensing, patient records, and regulatory compliance
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospital or acute care pharmacy settings is required
- Demonstrated expertise in medical terminology and medication administration processes
- Prior leadership or managerial experience within a pharmacy environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
- Knowledge of current pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices in hospital settings

Pay: $115,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
