Location: Collingwood/Barrie/Toronto
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Carpet Installer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have experience with residential and/or commercial carpet installation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and alongside others.
Responsibilities
- Remove existing flooring and prepare surfaces for installation
- Measure, cut, and install carpet and underpadding
- Stretch and secure carpet using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Install transitions, trims, and finishing details
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Inspect completed installations to ensure quality workmanship
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures
Requirements
- Previous carpet installation experience is considered an asset
- Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Installer must have access to the tools and equipment needed for carpet installation work
- Flexible availability is an asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Position Details
- Independent contractor opportunity
- Hourly compensation based on experience and completed work
- This position is not eligible for company benefit programs
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
