Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is looking for an experienced National Security Solutions Manager to join their team !
Responsibilities:
- Acts as the national technical lead for Security Solutions across Canada, providing design, estimating, project support, and technical expertise to branch teams, customers, consultants, and contractors.
- Supports and promotes Troy's Solutions portfolio, including Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV/Video Surveillance, PA/Intercom Systems, Nurse Call Systems, and Patient Wandering Systems.
- Provides technical support and consultation to customers, architects, engineers, sales teams, and field technicians.
- Oversees project execution, including system design, permitting requirements, material procurement, labour scheduling, installation support, and project closeout.
- Participates in work-in-progress meetings and provides regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinates and delivers training for branch personnel, technicians, and subcontractors on security and solution-based products.
- Supports national sales initiatives and provides field support as required.
- Evaluates and tests emerging technologies and products to support innovation and continuous improvement.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of ULC Monitoring and Installation Standards, Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection/Security Systems, Nurse Call/Healthcare Communication Systems, and PA/Intercom Systems.
- Experience with system design, estimating, proposal development, and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and support technical teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Canada as required.
