About the Role
AtlantiCann Medical Inc. (AMI) is currently seeking a Trim & Harvester. This role will be responsible for accurately and efficiently completing the harvest, trimming and packaging of cannabis, while maintaining a contaminate-free workspace. This role is eligible for incentives based on average amount trimmed on top of hourly rate.
Hours of Work: Currently day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Mon–Fri). Schedule may change as operations grow; reasonable notice will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to trim 120 grams per hour or more
- De-fanning plants
- Post-harvest breakdown and clean-up
- Waste removal
- Loading and unloading trays with plants
- Clean and sanitize drying rooms and trim room
- Scouting for imperfections
- Tray and workstation sanitation
What You Bring
- Must be 19+ years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Basic math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Site Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Comfortable with exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, and water.
- Comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment while on the production floor.
- Have the physical ability to sit, squat, bend, lift, push, pull 35 pounds and kneel repetitively throughout a workday.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
