Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Manage merchandising displays and ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized sales areas and keep track of inventory levels
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via digital channels
- Manage time efficiently to meet sales goals and handle multiple customer interactions seamlessly
- Assist in training new team members on sales techniques, POS operations, and customer service standards as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, merchandising, or related fields; experience in technology or product demos is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and upselling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and active listening
- Knowledge of retail sales processes, technical sales concepts, and product demonstrations preferred
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting
Pay: $35,500.00-$123,974.20 per year
