About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and hands-on Home Stager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for interiors, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
The ideal candidate understands that successful staging goes beyond simply decorating a space — it’s about creating emotional connection, enhancing perceived value, and strategically preparing homes to stand out in today’s market.
Working alongside an experienced design and logistics team, the Home Stager will assist in transforming vacant and occupied properties into beautifully curated spaces designed to maximize market appeal.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and curate staging concepts utilizing the company’s in-house inventory collection, with thoughtful attention to detail, balance, scale, flow, and buyer psychology
- Stage residential properties using furniture, artwork, décor, textiles, and accessories
- Execute staging plans efficiently while maintaining a high standard of design and presentation
- Act as the on-site project lead, overseeing staging execution and ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently while collaborating with designers, movers, and project coordinators
- Ensure projects are completed within scheduled timelines and company standards
- Coordinate directly with project clients through discovery calls, on-site meetings, consultations, walkthroughs, and ongoing project communication
- Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and installing staging inventory
- Support warehouse preparation and organization, inventory management, and staging logistics as needed
- Maintain professionalism, strong communication, and a positive client-facing presence on-site
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Interior Design, Decorating, Visual Merchandising, or a related field is considered an asset
- Previous experience in home staging, interior decorating, visual merchandising, or related design fields preferred
- Strong understanding of current interior design trends and the residential real estate market
- Excellent styling instincts, spatial awareness, and understanding of colour theory and composition
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, moving, and installing furniture and décor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional client-facing presence
- Flexible availability, including occasional early mornings or extended staging days as required
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
