Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coatings.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
- Follow detailed instructions and specifications to achieve the desired finish quality.
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
- Adhere to safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in painting applications.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand surface preparation and finishing techniques.
- Experience with residential or commercial painting
- Additional training certificates an asset.
