Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Massage Therapist and become a vital part of promoting health, and overall well-being for our clients. We are a therapeutic focus massage clinic with a very good reputation and customer base looking to add to our amazing team. *Note* Current shifts available for this position are Friday Afternoon/Evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and Monday afternoon/evenings. More shifts will become available in coming months.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their specific health concerns and massage therapy goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate various massage techniques to address client needs
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities
- Maintain clear communication with clients before, during, and after treatments to ensure comfort and satisfaction
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or stretches when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene protocols
- Keep detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and any relevant medical information
- Be able to put through direct billing insurance benefits as well as take care of billing through Janeapp booking software
Experience
- Valid registration with a massage association in Alberta
- Experience delivering professional massage therapy services in a clinical setting but new grads are welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients empathetically
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
