Outside Sales Representative – Landscape Construction
Commission Only | Evenings + Weekend Availability Required
Brick Lawn Landscaping is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to meet with homeowners and quote residential landscape construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, solid construction knowledge, and the ability to build confidence with clients in person.
This position is scheduled Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with weekend availability as needed. These are the hours we work because most homeowners prefer to meet after work and in the evenings, when they have time to walk their property and discuss their projects.
What the role involves
You will be meeting with homeowners, discussing their vision, identifying project needs, and helping move them toward a signed project. You will be representing our company on a range of residential landscape construction work, including:
- Fences
- Decks
- Artificial grass
- Hardscaping
- New build landscaping
We are looking for someone with strong landscape construction knowledge. A broad understanding of all of the above is preferred, but if your experience is stronger in only a few of these areas, that is still worth considering.
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction
- Confidence meeting with homeowners in person
- Professional communication and presentation
- Ability to work evenings and some weekends
Compensation
This is a commission-only position, paid at 10% of gross commission.
For example:
You could be earning anywhere from $900-3,600 per sale. This role has strong upside for someone who can close. With consistent appointments and larger jobs, the earning potential adds up quickly.
