Duties
- Oversee kitchen operations and ensure the efficient preparation of meals.
- Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation, taste, and portion sizes.
- Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
- Excellent skills in food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Experience in restaurant management is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
