Commission is earned per sale, can earn $30-100 a day extra.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in engaging customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales through excellent service and effective communication. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and recommendations, including conducting product demos when necessary
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring product availability on the sales floor
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and returns
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with stock organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area to ensure an inviting shopping environment
- Handle cashiering duties including processing payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and managing receipts
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth store operations
- Utilize organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
- Experience in retail sales, technology sales, or merchandising is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Technical sales experience or ability to demonstrate products confidently is a plus
- Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively to meet sales goals
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail operations including cashiering, inventory management, and POS systems
