We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team for Saturdays. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, and endodontic treatments with precision and professionalism.
- Utilize dental software such as Epic and Dentrix for patient record management, treatment planning, and scheduling.
- Provide age-appropriate dental care for pediatric patients, ensuring comfort and understanding for young children.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies using clear medical terminology.
- Maintain high standards of infection control and adhere to all safety protocols in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative procedures when applicable, ensuring precise fitting of crowns or bridges.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and training to enhance clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Dental degree from an accredited institution; valid state or regional license to practice dentistry.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in using dental office management software such as Dentrix and Epic.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient communication.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CAD technology for restorative work is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
- Prior experience in a busy dental office setting demonstrating efficiency and professionalism.
