We have an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative with relevant industry experience to join our enthusiastic and energetic team.
About This Opportunity
The Outside Sales Representatives at Proplast North America are responsible for identifying, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities as well as supporting and expanding business within a portfolio of existing customers within their designated territory. They are expected to maximize profitable sales opportunities through their understanding of the markets and products the organization sells and forge strong relationships across all contacts within our customers’ organizations.
Responsibilities
- Successfully support and service existing customers by addressing their critical needs and in so doing, ensure that sales are maximized to full potential within active accounts.
- Proactively arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities.
- Independently prospect for new business within the assigned territory
- Execute upon and maintain corporate sales pipeline initiatives and reports.
- Support the Inside Sales Organization by ensuring effective two-way communication of customer demand planning to ensure that inventory, revenue and profit goals are achieved.
- Ensures a high level of customer service and resolves issues promptly.
- Execute channel and target customer programs that leverage corporate marketing strategies.
Qualifications
- Self-starter with a Hunter/Gatherer approach to sales
- 5-7 years of selling experience in commercial manufacturing environments.
- 3-5 years of selling experience with lighting equipment and automotive accessories
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
- Proficient using a variety of computer programs.
- Valid driver's license and driving record free from any violations for the past 3 years.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
