Hose Connections is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Hose Shop Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position in a friendly, slow-paced work environment where attention to detail, customer service, and quality workmanship are valued.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay:
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Overview
We are looking for someone with experience identifying, measuring, building, and repairing hydraulic hoses. Applicants must have previous experience identifying hydraulic hose and fittings, as well as cutting and crimping hydraulic hose or mechanic experience.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and crimp hydraulic hoses and assemblies
- Identify the correct hydraulic hose and fittings for customer applications
- Assist customers in person and over the phone
- Complete sales transactions using a computer/POS system
- Operate and manage the retail location
- Maintain inventory levels and order stock as needed
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and efficient
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications
- Required: Previous experience identifying, cutting, and crimping hydraulic hoses
- Mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- Comfortable using computers for sales, invoicing, and inventory management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and measuring accuracy
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
