Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our team as a Part-Time Adapted Sports Program Instructor Therapist. This role combines ABA-based therapy with structured physical activity programming to support children with autism.
You will lead and implement inclusive sports sessions while applying behaviour therapy strategies to improve motor skills, self-regulation, social participation, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement 1:1, and group ABA programs within an adapted sports setting
- Lead structured, inclusive sports and recreation activities
- Use physical activity to support gross motor development, behaviour regulation, and social skills
- Follow all organizational policies (staff handbook, health & safety, etc.)
- Collaborate with other staff members to deliver quality program
- Promote the program to families and community partners
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
Educational Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in:
- Psychology
- Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Behavioural Science
- Kinesiology / Physical Education / Recreation
- Child & Youth Care or related field
- Post-graduate certificate in ABA, Autism & Behavioural Science, or related field (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 6 months hands-on experience in an IBI/ABA setting
- Experience working with children with autism or neurodivergent populations
- Experience in sports or recreation program delivery
- Strong understanding of ABA principles
- CPI and First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- RBT certification (asset)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
