We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Korean speaker Kinesiologist to join the team at a prestigious clinic located in Burnaby, British Columbia!
As a valued member of our clinic, you will play a pivotal role in assisting patients in achieving their health and wellness objectives. Working closely with our team of healthcare experts, you will develop personalized care plans that cater to each patient's individual requirements, enabling them to reach their maximum potential.
In this position, your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, creating customized exercise programs, and providing education and support to our patients. Collaboration with our Registered massage therapist, Acupuncture, Physiologist, Chiropractor will be essential to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and analyzing the mechanics of human movement and physical function.
- Designing personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs for clients.
- Developing programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
- Addressing areas of weakness or dysfunction in clients' movement patterns.
- Providing education on proper body mechanics and injury prevention techniques.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Assisting in injury management and rehabilitation for individuals.
- Monitoring progress and adjusting exercise programs as needed.
- Promoting overall health and well-being through exercise and physical activity.
Qualifications/Experience
- Proof of full registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of BC (BCAK), including registration number
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science principles.
- Proficiency in designing personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
