Overview
We are a smaller Commercial General Contractor primarily focused on interiors with the occasional exterior job seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and excellent leadership skills. This role involves supervising on-site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The Construction Site Supervisor will play a critical role in delivering successful projects while managing teams of workers and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist with construction estimating as needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
- Lead and supervise construction crews, providing guidance and resolving on-site challenges efficiently.
- Performing various carpentry and site clean-up duties on site as required.
- Sites are all around the City and include, but are not limited to, Corporate, Industrial, Retail, Hospitality, and large amounts of various Landlord Work.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in the commercial interiors construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes. This item is a non-negotiable.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates accurately.
- Knowledge of quality control standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within budget constraints.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients or stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management or related fields are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to lead impactful projects within a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in construction management.

- Experience in various carpentry items along with a willingness to perform those items, such as hanging doors, installing hardware, installing washroom accessories, etc.
- Experience in framing and/or drywall - taping would be an added bonus
- Experience in doing firestopping
- Experience in any kind of basic millwork adjustments
Pay & other benefits will ultimately depend not just on experience but also you being able to show you can do said things in the field.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
