Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various building components, fixtures, and systems in residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
Responsibilities
- Ability to install Hardie siding, vinyl siding, soffit and fascia unsupervised.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure precise execution of projects.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install vinyl siding and James Hardie products.
- Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, measuring, and fitting materials according to specifications.
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing of installations.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor as needed to move materials or equipment safely.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, caulking.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
