HVAC Manager

An established HVAC company in Guelph is seeking an experienced HVAC Manager to lead our growing service and installation team. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with proven management and organizational skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting technicians in the field, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support HVAC service and installation technicians.
- Coordinate daily scheduling and workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform site visits and assist with complex service calls when required.
- Ensure all work complies with TSSA regulations, applicable codes, and company safety standards.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and maintain high workmanship standards.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members.
- Work closely with office staff to coordinate scheduling, customer communication, and project completion.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and material requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while resolving escalated service concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum G2 Gas Technician Licence (TSSA) required.
- Strong technical knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, water heaters, and related HVAC equipment.
- Previous experience supervising or managing HVAC technicians is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Sheet metal experience is considered an asset.
- 313A or 313D Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence is considered an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
