Job Overview
Hybrid Landscape Management Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Asphalt Lead Hand to join our growing team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing a small crew while actively participating in asphalt maintenance, repair, and paving operations. The successful candidate will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a small asphalt crew during daily operations.
- Coordinate work activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Operate asphalt maintenance equipment, including hot boxes, skid steers, drag boxes, rollers, plate compactors, and related tools.
- Perform asphalt repairs, patching, crack sealing, and surface restoration.
- Assist with site preparation, traffic control, and project setup.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure company quality standards are maintained.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members.
- Enforce company policies and health and safety requirements.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Track material usage and communicate supply requirements to management.
- Complete daily job reports and production records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in asphalt maintenance, paving, or construction.
- Experience operating asphalt maintenance and construction equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and jobsite safety requirements.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and project specifications.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License required.
- DZ License considered a strong asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
