Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience while representing our commitment to quality service and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases
Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions
Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
Ensure compliance with store policies and legal regulations
Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves as needed
Uphold excellent customer service standards to foster repeat business
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Basic math skills for accurate transactions
Friendly attitude with excellent organizational skills
Previous experience in alcohol or beverage retail is advantageous but not required
