Bulldog Bag Ltd. is looking for a skilled Millwright Apprentice / Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is critical to keeping our production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility machinery to manufacturer standards while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence across the plant.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Install, repair, and replace mechanical components including bearings, chains, belts, sprockets, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors.
- Perform welding and fabrication work to repair, modify, and improve equipment.
- Fabricate brackets, guards, supports, and custom components as required.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance team members to achieve operational goals.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Registered 3rd or 4th Year Millwright Apprentice.
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
- Strong welding and fabrication skills (SMAW welding experience preferred).
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment independently.
- Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems, and power transmission equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in packaging, converting, printing, or manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial work platform certification.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
