About the role:
The Light Vehicle Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety and quality standards. Light Duty Technicians work collaboratively with the planning and team to deliver execution of the integrated plan and schedule.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.

Assess the condition of key vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, steering, suspension, and electrical components.

Perform repairs on light‑duty vehicles following manufacturer specifications.

Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes, brake servicing, and tire rotation.

Replace worn or defective components including belts, hoses, batteries, and spark plugs.

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure safety and performance standards are met.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures while properly using and maintaining tools and equipment.

Accurately document completed work, parts used, and report major faults or safety concerns.
