Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Counter Sales Representative for a full-time, permanent direct hire opportunity with an established electrical wholesale distributor in Barrie. This role is ideal for a polished, customer-focused sales professional with current electrical wholesale counter sales experience and strong knowledge of electrical products, materials, and contractor needs.
The Counter Sales Representative will support customers at the counter and by phone, manage orders, provide product guidance, and help ensure contractors receive accurate, timely, and professional service. This is a fully on-site role within a stable branch environment that values product knowledge, responsiveness, teamwork, and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders received at the counter and by phone with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism.
- Serve electrical contractors and trade customers in a courteous, polished, and knowledgeable manner.
- Provide technical assistance and product recommendations related to electrical materials and components.
- Negotiate pricing when required, with support from Sales Managers.
- Prepare customer orders, coordinate order fulfillment, and schedule deliveries as needed.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while handling multiple customer requests in a fast-paced branch setting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience.
- Health Spending Account: $3,000 per year.
- Vacation: 2 weeks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Work arrangement: Fully on site in Barrie.
