Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including medication administration and health monitoring
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Support patients with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure safety and comfort
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Support patients with hospice or end-of-life needs with compassion and dignity
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate attitude towards patients of all ages
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Certification in medication administration or nursing assistance is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; patience and empathy are essential qualities for success in this role
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
