About Us:
Shannon Lynn is a multi family construction developer. We specialise in high-quality residential construction projects, working with private clients and real estate investors. As we grow as a company, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Site Manager to oversee and manage daily operations at our residential job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff
- Monitor project schedules and adjust work as needed to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality control, and compliance with building codes
- Resolve issues and troubleshoot problems that arise on-site
- Maintain accurate project records and site logs
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and engineers to ensure smooth communication and execution
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or site management role
- Strong knowledge of BC Building Code and local permitting processes
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Red Seal certification or construction-related diploma
- First Aid, WHMIS, or other relevant safety training
- Speak and write in chinese for daily log and reports
