About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Coordinator will lead the day-to-day execution of direct mail and annual giving campaigns. This role requires a high level of ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to drive projects from concept through to results. The incumbent will also lead the integration of direct mail and digital prospect strategies, including segmentation, donor journey planning, and performance analysis, while partnering closely with the Marketing & Communications team on the execution of digital campaigns and tactics.
This role manages the full lifecycle of direct mail campaigns, including planning, content development, audience targeting, vendor coordination, and performance analysis to help grow donor acquisition, retention, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end delivery of direct mail campaigns, from concept and briefing through to printing and distribution
- Support the development and execution of multi-channel fundraising campaigns (mail, digital, and email)
- Maintain campaign calendars and ensure timelines are met
Content & Donor Communications
- Work with Communications to develop donor-focused appeal letters, newsletters, and stewardship materials
- Ensure messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with organizational goals
Data & Segmentation
- Use donor data (Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM) to build targeted audience lists
- Support donor acquisition, retention, upgrade, and reactivation strategies
- Maintain high data quality and support data-driven decision making
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for print vendors, mail houses, and other partners
- Ensure quality, timelines, and cost-effectiveness are met
- Manage external relationships to support successful campaign delivery
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on campaign performance, including response rates, revenue, ROI, and donor trends
- Use insights to recommend improvements and test new approaches
Budget & Administration
- Track campaign budgets and expenses
- Support invoice processing and financial coordination with the finance team
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in direct mail fundraising, direct marketing, or annual giving
- Strong understanding of direct mail and digital fundraising strategies
- Experience working with donor databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign data and performance metrics
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working with external vendors and partners
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
