Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Motel Manager preferably a retired Couple to oversee the daily operations of our Motel and Campground bookings.
From the total salary a 2 Bedroom Apartment stay amount will be deducted.
15 April to 15 October is active business season and rest of the 6 months it is extremely slow. allows extra time for one of the person to work part time somewhere else if required.
The Motel Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for all Motel guests and staff.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote excellent customer service and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Oversee the daily maintenance of Motel, Parking, bathrooms, amenities, and common areas including cleaning rooms and garbage.
- Ensure the Motel and Campground is clean, organized, and safe for guests always.
- Manage booking systems, process reservations, and ensure efficient guest check-in/check-out procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, occupancy, and payments.
- Oversee Motel and Campground budget, including expenses for supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all payments, including rental fees and deposits, are processed and recorded accurately.
- Prepare financial reports and track income, expenses, and revenue generation.
- Enforce campground rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of facilities and equipment.
- Promote the campground through digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required, especially during peak seasons.
.Qualifications
- Previous experience in a management role within hospitality or camp settings is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by Motel/ campground schedules.
- Previous experience in campground, hotel, or RV park management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
- Proficiency in reservation systems, email, Microsoft Office, and other software tools.
- Must be able to perform tasks such as standing, walking, and occasional bending or lifting.
