Job SummaryWorkhorse Boxing Academy is looking for a dependable and technically knowledgeable boxing coach to join our team in Brampton.
The ideal candidate is confident coaching beginners, adults and children, can explain boxing fundamentals clearly, and understands how to create a safe and encouraging class environment.
This position will begin with limited weekly hours and may grow as the academy expands. The successful candidate will initially shadow and assist with classes before independently leading sessions.
Applicants should include their boxing experience, coaching experience, certifications and weekly availability.
Responsibilities
- Be able to teach in a 1 on 1 setting as well as small group setting (max 6 people a class)
- Be able to teach boxing as well as strength training
- Creates an encouraging and energetic atmosphere
- Punctuality is a MUST
- Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting programs to ensure continuous improvement
- Educate clients on proper technique, safety protocols, and injury prevention strategies
- Be able to motify any exercise/ drill
- Communicate effectively with clients in English

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
