Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform basic automotive repairs and operate heavy equipment as needed.
Duties
- Operate Tri-Axle roll off with float trailer to move gravel, fill, float heavy equipment.
- Ensure that all cargo is secured properly and complies with safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (AZ) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
